Hosted by the LGBT Employee Association of Dallas, UNT Special Collections and The Dallas Way, the Being Here event exposed not only the struggles of the LGBT community, but also the impact of HIV/AIDS in the Dallas LGBT community. In celebration of National Pride Month, the Dallas City Hall flew its LGBT pride flag as part of the Being Here: Exhibit and Pride Flag Unveiling event.
